![]() The construct of subjective energy at work has been defined as an affective state characterized by a sensation of cognitive liveliness, physical strength, and emotional energy ( Shirom, 2004). ![]() Researchers are becoming increasingly interested in employees’ energy in the workplace. Results of polynomial regression and response surface analyses performed with a sample of 277 dyads in the retail sector indicate that the effect of the energy gap is asymmetrical, such that followers paired with a more energetic leader gain energy one year later, whereas those matched with less energetic leaders experience energy depletion. Building mainly on the crossover model, our time-lagged model also examines the moderating role of leader-member exchange. This study investigates the effects of the difference between leaders’ and followers’ level of subjective energy on the change in subordinates’ energy one year later, and on customer-oriented citizenship behaviors.

When we associate a layout with a content type, these blocks can placed into the sections for that "layout + content type" combination. One example is a block that creates a wrapper for the fields of a content type. It has a more abstract definition and acts more like a placeholder indicating that something goes here. It's important to understand that a block inside Layout Builder is not the same thing as a standard Drupal block entity. Blocks represent the content that will appear there. Block: A block is a content element that we can place into a layout.Once we define the sections, we cannot move them around. Sections create the skeleton of the layout. Each layout can have as many sections as required, but must have at least one. A example of such a container is a column in a 2-column layout. Section: Sections are the containers into which we place blocks.Layout Builder defines two main concepts used when creating a layout: Configuration options allow the site builder to specify a default layout for a content type, while allowing per-node customization of that layout. If they make changes to the layout, the changes apply to all existing and newly-created nodes of that type. In the simplest setup, a site builder creates a layout for a content type and applies the layout to all nodes of that content type. Layout Builder module works with the fields of a specific content type, blocks, and block types. Layout Builder can also place any block into a layout, which opens up all kinds of possibilities. The Layout Builder UI allows site administrators to configure a layout to use when displaying a content type, and then arrange the content types fields within the layout. Layout Builder: A drag-and-drop UI for creating flexible layouts for content types built on top of the Layout Discovery API.It also includes utilities such as automatically generating icons for the UI and more. Layout Discovery: An API module that defines what a layout is and handles layout registration and rendering.Layout Builder in Drupal core consists of two modules: Moving this responsibility to core helps to unify the contributed module ecosystem rather than having lots of different silos. Layout Builder (in Drupal core), provides a consistent API for modules to register a layout, and define what layouts are and can do. But solutions using these modules were often incompatible with one another. To address this demand, contributed modules such as Panels and Display Suite filled the gap. Such a tool can empower a whole new category of Drupal users to customize the look and feel of their Drupal applications. These tools are present in other platforms, and can allow for far more flexibility without the need to write code. One of the most commonly requested features over the years has been for Drupal to provide some kind of easy-to-use page builder with a WYSIWYG sort of experience. Introduce the core Layout Builder module and related ecosystem. ![]() Introduce terminology and concepts related to Layout Builderīy the end of this tutorial you'll have a better understanding of what the Drupal core Layout Builder module does and how it might help with your specific use-case.Give an overview of what Drupal Layout Builder is, and its common uses.It allows more consistent tooling across the entire page-building ecosystem. Layout Builder provides an API, and layout discovery feature, that themes and other modules can use to provide new templates. You can use Layout Builder to customize the layout of a single page, create a custom layout for all content of a certain type, or build landing pages.Īt a high level it allows users to generate a layout - two columns with a header, for example - and then place a content type's fields and any blocks into that layout. ![]() The Layout Builder module for Drupal provides a layout user interface (UI), a set of flexible visual design tools that allows content creators and site administrators to customize the layout of a page via a powerful drag-and-drop UI. With scattering media, KeyShot lets you add effects to your scene with smokes, particles, and other un-structured objects that are nearly impossible to model inside traditional parametric CAD programs. ![]() ![]() Additionally, all cutaways may be animated,” writes Luxion in its press release. “The Cutaway material also allows users to add and define the Cutaway Caps as a shaded color, the same material as the object to be cut or as a custom material. In KeyShot 8, you can compose the cutaway or cross-sectioned view inside the rendering environment, allowing you to adjust the cutaway angle, apply materials, and adjust the scene without going back to the CAD program. Most CAD modeling programs allow you to create cutaway and cross sectional views of the part or assembly to reveal its internal structure. The primary focus areas of KeyShot 8 are “materials and volume, lighting and optics, advanced geometry, image and output, and collaboration,” the company says. With rendering plug-ins to Onshape, NX (from Siemens PLM), SolidWorks (from Dassault Systemes, Fusion 360 (from Autodesk), and more, KeyShot enables direct import and LiveLinking back to the original CAD models. Running primarily on the CPU, KeyShot is known for its CAD-friendly workflow. “KeyShot 8 is a milestone release that expands the capabilities for KeyShot users and increases stability to both streamline the 3D rendering process and the 3D rendered results,” says Claus Wann Jensen, cofounder and CEO of Luxion. The new version marks the debut of cutaway tools, scattering media, and liquid interface, among other features. Last week, Luxion released KeyShot 8, a new version of its ray-traced rendering program. ![]() Dre Albums: Report Snoop Dogg announced that he bought back Death Row Records but some of the label’s biggest albums weren’t included in the acquisition, according to reports. ![]() Today, Facebook and Google are more influential purveyors of information than traditional media outlets.Honorable mentions go to Ace of Spades HQ, Conservative Review, American Enterprise Institute, The College Fix, Commentary, Citizen Free Press, Cato Institute, and The Resurgent (which is between domains right now), all of which had a significant impact on the conservative scene in 2018. The College Fix also dropped 11 points in the rankings. The Heritage Foundation moved up an impressive 21 places this year, while The Federalist Papers and IJR were down 13 and 11 points respectively, likely due to the sites’ heavy reliance on Facebook, which announced early last year that it would begin deprioritizing news publishers on its platform. The Western Journal was a stand-out, moving up 18 places over last year’s list, possibly due to the fact that it seems to have merged with Conservative Tribune. In fact, for many of the sites on our list, Drudge drives more traffic than Google and Facebook - in some cases driving more than Google and Facebook combined. In addition to the massive traffic the site garners in its own right, Drudge has an outsized influence as a top referral source, with some sites on our list getting 10 to 20 percent of their traffic from Drudge. The Drudge Report, for the second year in a row, ran away with the competition, claiming the top spot and trouncing all other right-leaning sites by a significant margin. Other sites, like Ace of Spades HQ, were not included because they are not ranked at SimilarWeb and Alexa. The site has become an influential part of the national political dialogue - not to mention the religious landscape - so it made the list. Some might also ask why satire site The Babylon Bee, a new entrant to the list this year, was included. Because the site has an influence on the conservative/right-leaning debate, we have decided to include them here along with other sites that made an impact in 2018. ![]() There are legitimate questions about whether a site like Infowars, known to traffic in conspiracy theories, ought to be included. This list, I expect, will be no exception. With any list that attempts to rank “conservative” entities or individuals, there is always significant debate about what it means to be conservative. We also excluded websites related to print newspapers ( New York Post, Wall Street Journal, Washington Times, etc.) because we wanted to focus solely on the new media landscape. Not included in our rankings are TV/video networks (Fox News, CRTV, TheBlazeTV, etc.). SimilarWeb is less forthcoming about what they’re measuring, but according to this post at Quora, “rankings are determined by traffic - monthly visits (non-unique).” This year, we decided not to use Quantcast because a significant number of websites in our category are not quantified there.Īlexa’s rankings are based on “a combined measure of Unique Visitors and Pageviews” over a three month period. In last year’s list of the top conservative sites, we calculated the average of rankings from Quantcast, SimliarWeb, and Alexa. (Scroll down to skip the analysis and go straight to the list.)īut before we get to that, an explanation of how these rankings were compiled is in order. While there was no change in the top four, there were some sites that moved up significantly in the rankings while others fell precipitously. For the second year in a row, The Drudge Report topped PJM’s list of the top 50 conservative websites, followed by Breitbart News, The Daily Caller, and ZeroHedge. ![]() Together Alpha Plus Paste with T2 Technology increases both sustained capacity and total overall ampere-hours resulting in more operating power for your application.
